Countdown To Election Day: Congressman Renacci’s Terrible Healthcare Stances
October 29, 2018
As the clock winds down to Election Day, we’re taking a look back at the lowlights of Congressman Jim Renacci’s Senate bid – a campaign that’s been defined by embarrassing stories, despicable lows, and complaints from Republicans that Renacci never “even picked up the towel.”
Today we’re taking a look at Congressman Renacci’s extreme stances on healthcare – positions that would be devastating for Ohio’s hardworking families.
We’re heading down the homestretch to Election Day, so be sure to continue following along over the next eight days as we count down to the end of Congressman Renacci’s pathetic political career.
Ohio’s hardworking families cannot afford to have Congressman Jim Renacci making their healthcare decisions. Renacci has voted to repeal the Affordable Care Act at least 17 times, despite the fact that millions of Ohioans benefit from the law.
Instead of working to find commonsense solutions to improve our healthcare system, Congressman Renacci has chosen to play political games, even as Ohioans’ premiums skyrocket.
Congressman Renacci has repeatedly shown he can’t be trusted to protect coverage for those with pre-existing conditions. In an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper back when he was running for governor, Congressman Renacci ducked and dodged questions instead of committing to protect pre-existing conditions if elected.
Bottom line: Congressman Renacci’s healthcare positions would be devastating to Ohio families, and that’s why he won’t be elected to the Senate next week.
